our longings as the first dream of our body

A hazy descend into the layers of the emotional, energetic, physical realm.

When you lower down the bubble of your circular escalator, you open up to a swathe of oceanic waters. Endless depths from left to right and all around.

She reaches out with her right hand - an orb of glowing light - for my heart. I watch myself dissolve, pores wide open.

I am already you. You are already me.

Your future is already calling, the part of you that has already walked past these mountainous terrains and treacherous valleys.

In the overflow of the river bank, rest easy.

Our longings call forth something deep within us.

In the center of our being, our dreams emerge. Our body reveals this dream, what has been long coded in our ancestral bones, collective tissues, the cellular imprint of memories beyond realms.

What is the size of your longing?

What is the colour of your dream?

If your dream could speak, what would they say?

In the hazy, fuzzy space where our longing arises, we may also catch a whiff of fear.

Your fear may show up as:

I am afraid of what will happen if…

I am afraid of the unknown

I am afraid of losing connection

I am afraid of losing control

Our fears take shape in our bodies, like symbolic images that appear in our mind’s eye, like sensations encoded as brittle, dense, jagged, achy, blocked, knotted, prickly, nauseous, quivering, sticky, wobbly, suffocating.

We gather sensations as relational data points, as another indication into where fragmentation has occurred, or where a stuck pattern appears no matter what because that sensation is always connected to that impression, that behaviour, that emotion, that meaning.

What do your longings want your fear to know?

What if a new connection is possible?

Swimming from the dream and the fear, the longing and the terror.

What if a new pathway is ready to be carved?

allow yourself to be held and supported in a spacious container to explore your embodied dreams that are longing to emerge and be expressed:
